Meet The Team
Club Owner/Coach
Samantha Kacir
For over two decades, Samantha has been involved in many aspects of horse sports, ranging from eventing and pony club during her middle and high school years, to being a polo groom during college. It was when her twin daughters began vaulting that she truly fell in love with the sport and decided to begin her own business, Fly High Vaulters. Now, equipped with their own club horses, Samantha is more excited than ever to continue her education and share her knowledge with others.
Coach
Kate Dieringer-Bird
Kate, discovered vaulting at age ten and worked hard to become a bronze level vaulter. After high school, Kate shifted her focus to dressage and managed an Andalusian breeding and training farm for five years.
After taking a 15-year break from the equestrian world, Kate changed her focus to canine agility and now competes at a national level. Her passion for helping others achieve their goals, combined with her incredible eye for detail and her knowledge of body awareness and physical conditioning, make her an ideal teacher and trainer.

Theodora "Teddy"
28 year old gentle giant - a 16 Hand Draft Cross Mare named after her bay color and sweet personality. Our enthusiastic vaulters dub her a big "Teddy Bear" and she proudly guides our teams in the Trot Competition. Previously used as a cart horse, she now enjoys the relaxed life of being groomed and spoiled with an endless supply of cookies. Acquired in 2021, she has quickly become the team's favorite.

Meet Buttercup, a magnificent 13 year old 14.1 hh Haflinger mare! She delighted us when she made her debut for classes in September 2022 and has proven to be a reliable and loving companion for our young vaulters. Buttercup carries our tiniest vaulters all the way up through our preteens. With two solid years of competition under her belt she is a wonderful steady pint sized vaulting pony.
